i've recently decided twitter is so lame.
honestly, i don't care what perez hilton and asthon kutcher are doing at 4:38 pm on a saturday.
some might say, i should just delete my account. to those i would say,
"really? do you have twitter? yeah...thats what i thought."
i will keep it, so i remain cool. but, thanks for the advice.
this blog isn't about twitter though, because that's way lame.
this blog is about how exciting my life isn't. which, i will try to prove, is only half true.
i'm moving downtown tomorrow. that's completely stellar. i'm hoping that living in the heart and soul of utah may actually make me appreciate it a lot better...?
if you know me at all, you're aware that for some reason i've never appreciated utah. i'm beginning to think its not necessarily "utah," but its more the fact that i thrive on change and uncertainty.
for some reason i'm not comfortable doing the same things, being in the same place, looking at the same scenery, and thinking the same thoughts.
wow.
phew. let's not talk about that anymore. i forgot this blog was about excitement, so here you have it. just my list of exciting things. (which is mostly for me to look back on, when i decide i'm bored with life again.)
- moving downtown - which is going to be stressful for a bit, and make my commute to provo a little worse, but i think all-in-all it's a good decision.
- i get three paychecks this month. which is completely necessary.
- couchsurfing campout? denver. june 10-14. that could be the best time of my life. i hope i can make it!
- alaska!!!! yeah. i'm going to alaska over july 4th, with the fam! its going to be great. i actually miss family vacations, i think its been a while since i tagged along on one.
- summer. god. i don't think i've ever been so excited for summer. living downtown, longboarding to get groceries, free trax to the movies & walking to coffee shops.
- dreadlocks? the answer is yes. as of now. we'll see how they end up. it could be a huge mistake with my small hairs, but we'll see.
- (this one is bad) quitting my job! i get to be done by december 2. we'll see if the pay raise is actually worth staying. but...that thought is for a much later date!
- i turn 22 in august. which happens to be not exciting. but, its still cool.
- hopefully i'll make it to ireland this year, or the beginning of next. i'm super low on cash, but i have my ways of saving.
- my new place allows cats. i might get one more. (don't tell a soul)
i'll try to blog more often, but thats all for now.
